descending order



Ordering numbers is defined as the numbers while properly arranged set or Putting numbers in order is known as number ordering. Number ordering is generally two types, which are

1. Ascending order,

2. Descending order.

The above two orders are the essential in ordering the numbers and those two number ordering are contains some of the types of number orders.


  1. Match with the given numbers.
  2. Ascending Order - Arranging in increasing order (smaller number to bigger number using <>
  3. Descending Order - Arranging in decreasing order (bigger number to smaller number by using > sign for descending order).
  4. To match like fractions: See the value of numerators and arrange accordingly.
  5. To match with different fractions: Create the denominators general by finding LCM and then compare.
