volume of a rectangle

The four-sided figures with opposite sides equal in length which are sometimes referred to as rectangles. The volume of rectangle are find only in three dimensional rectangles such as rectangular prism. The volume of rectangle is specifies an area in the coordinate space that is enclosed by the rectangular object. To find the volume of a rectangle, multiply length into width into height. Volume is generally measured in cubic units such as cubic inches, cubic feet or cubic meters.

Formula: volume of rectangle = l × h × w. Where l = length, h = height and w = width. Such as product of length, height and width.
* Length of the opposite sides is equal.
* Length of the two diagonals is equal.
The interior angle of rectangle is 180 degree.
Volume of rectangle is similar to the volume of parallelogram, it also same like length into height into width.
Find the volume of a rectangle prism whose length l = 4 m and height = 6 m and width = 3m?
Formula: volume of rectangle = l × h × w
= 4 × 6 × 3
= 72m2
In our next blog we shall learn about "integral calculator step by step" I hope the above explanation was useful.Keep reading and leave your comments.
